Provided by AGPThe demonstrators, which included some foreign nationals, assembled along Uhuru Highway carrying red flags and placards with anti-imperialist slogans before being blocked by anti-riot police units deployed around the area.
According to reports, officers moved in to stop the group from advancing toward the heavily secured summit location, leading to chaotic scenes in parts of the city center. Footage showed protesters being chased through the streets as teargas spread, while some were detained and placed into police vehicles.
